Poppin'Party (shortened to PoPiPa) is a Japanese all-female band that was formed in 2015 as part of Bushiroad's media franchise BanG Dream!. The group's members are voice actresses who portray fictional characters in the franchise's anime series and mobile game BanG Dream! Girls Band Party!.
The band consists of Aimi (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Sae Ōtsuka (lead guitar), Rimi Nishimoto (bass), Ayaka Ōhashi (drums), and Ayasa Itō (keyboard).
History[]
The band mentioned Silent Siren as one of their inspirations, the two groups collaborated in the Battle of the Bands concert "No Girl No Cry" at the MetLife Dome on May of 2019.
Poppin'Party and Silent Siren released a dual single "NO GIRL NO CRY" on July 31of 2019, along with a music video featuring both groups.
In 2020 it was announced that Aimi was going to be featured in a song for Silent Siren album "Mix10th", on June 19 a music video was released for the song "Up To You" featuring Aimi.
